I worked as an environmental educator with Eco Education BC from September 4th, 2001 until June 20th, 2002 and I had great time! From September, 2001 until February 19th, 2002, I was on the Grizz Ed team but after that I was teaching about the water cycle on the Water Crew. On both crews my job was to go into elementary school classrooms to educate and inspire kids!

We travelled around BC to different schools and spent each day with one grade four to six class. It was excellent to have such a long time with the students, because it gave me a chance to get to know the students and I feel like I had an impact on them.

With Eric and Lisa (my Grizz Ed teammates) I went on three roadtrips around British Columbia. The first one took us to Gibsons, Langdale, Roberts Creek, Halfmoon Bay and Powell River. These towns are collectively called BC's Sunshine Coast. On our second road trip, Grizz Ed went to Lillooet, Merritt, Penticton and Naramata. On February 1st I returned from my third road trip, I three week visit to Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Coal Harbour, Campbell River and Port Alberni (all on Vancouver Island, where I grew up).
